About Us
Our Objectives
The New South Wales Chess Association’s main objectives are to encourage, promote, maintain and control the playing of chess in the state of New South Wales by:
- Promoting and conducting chess matches, competitions and tournaments.
- Encouraging the teaching and playing of chess in schools and amongst juniors and by promoting matches between schools.
- Awarding prizes, titles and awards.
